The brown/orange-brown cap of Mallocybe unicolor (formerly Inocybe unicolor) is covered with fine hair-like fibres (fibrillose) that become scaly with age. Gills become brown with white edges. Brown spore print. Small mushroom (2-3cm) found late spring and into summer. Often fruiting under hardwood trees in urban areas, such as parks and school yards. |
