Truncospora ohiensis |
Formerly Perenniporia ohiensis. This resupinate (flat) form of truncospora ohiensis was growing from a dead fruit tree, possibly wild cherry or plum. Pore surface (white) develops tiny ridges to help with spore dispersal, extending the pores outward. This white rot fungus also develops caps (top-right image). |
